How do I get a price quote?

We provide a full quote before starting any job, based on an in-store fitting with our specialist. You can see starting prices on our Price List, but final pricing depends on fabric type and complexity of the work.

Do prices vary by fabric?

Yes. Delicate fabrics such as silk and chiffon require extra care and will cost more than standard fabrics. We always provide a full quote before starting work so there are no surprises.

Do you do wedding dress alterations?

Yes! Wedding dress alterations are one of our specialties. Our experienced seamstresses provide meticulous fittings and alterations including shortening, taking in or letting out, strap adjustments, zipper replacement, and special resizing. We recommend booking a fitting appointment as early as possible before your wedding date.

Do you do suit and jacket tailoring?

Yes! We offer full suit and jacket tailoring including: sleeve shortening from $55, sleeve lengthening from $60, jacket shortening from $80, take in / let out back, zipper replacement from $55, and shoulder lift-up.

Can you hem yoga pants or track pants?

Yes! We hem yoga pants and track pants with or without zippers, velcro, or elastic. Stretch hems start at $22 CAD.

Do you replace zippers?

Yes, we replace zippers on jeans from $26, dresses from $40, jackets from $55, and hoodies from $40. We also replace fly buttons, snaps, and sliders.

Do you offer custom sewing?

Yes! We offer custom sewing services including bespoke clothing, recreating styles you love, home sewing (curtains, cushions, tablecloths), costumes, and special requests. Custom pricing is provided after we see your sample and fabric.

What fabrics do you work with?

We work with a wide range of fabrics including denim, cotton, stretch, polyester, silk, chiffon, wool, and leather. Please note that delicate fabrics like silk and chiffon may cost more due to the extra care required.

How long do alterations take?

Turnaround time depends on the alteration type and current workload. Simple hems can often be completed within a few days. Wedding dress alterations and complex work may take longer, especially near peak wedding season. We recommend booking early to ensure your garment is ready in time.
